Now we come to the core of the guide

Creating a Separator in MO2

  1. Right-click anywhere in the left pane of MO2 and select Create Separator
  2. Name the separator FROST

FROST Survival Simulator

Description

  • Well, if you are here, I probably don’t have to tell you what this is

Installation Instructions

  • Main Files - FROST (BA2 Version) 0.55
  • Do not download the save files from the “Old Files” section. You won’t need them

Frost Official Updates (Redux)

Description

  • Continues the development of FROST.
  • Note: The .esp file of this mod is called RedsFrostFixes.esp

Installation Instructions

  • Main Files - Frost Official Updates
    • Always install the newest version of this mod!
    • If you install this mod, you will have an option to install
      • a Campsite patch
      • a CBBE patch
      • a Survival Configuration Menu (SCM) patch
      • some optional plugins
    • Install those patches if you use the respective mods
    • Install the optional plugins if you want to use them

FROST Plus

Description

  • Continues the development of FROST alongside the Official Updates. Provides you with expanded content such as New Game feature, Voiced characters, Bug fixes, Navmesh fixes and lot more!

Installation Instructions

  • Main File - FROST PLUS - Main
  • Always install the newest version of this mod!

FROST UFO4P Compatibility Patch

Description

  • Patches the Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch for FROST

Installation Instructions

  • Main File - FROST - UFO4P Patch
  • Always install the newest version of this mod!

FROST - It Snowed

Description

  • Fixes some texture bugs from FROST and adds new snow textures

Installation Instructions

  • Main File - FROST - It Snowed
  • Always install the newest version of this mod!

FROST Lootable Cars (*O)

Description

  • Vehicles are now Lootable to your heart’s content!

Installation Instructions

  • Main File - FROST - Lootable And Locked Cars 1.1

FROST - Dark Calling (*O)

Description

  • Overhauls locations originally occupied by supermutants
  • Overhauled locations look like they’ve been occupied by insane survivors, cannibals and cultists

Installation Instructions

  • Main File - FROST - Supermutant Locations 1.0

FROST - Hunkered Down (*O)

Description

  • Updates 30+ locations so they look like humans could actually survive in them.

Installation Instructions

  • Main File - FROST - Hunkered Down 1.0
  • Optional File - FROST - Hunkered Down - settlements 1.0

FROST - Accessible Locations (*O)

This is not a single mod, it is a collection of mods.

Description

  • Opens up and changes locations that were previously locked in FROST.

Installation Instructions

  • Download the main files of the 4 Accessible Locations mods and install them with MO2.

FROST - CHW PreConfig .ini (*O)

Note

  • You only need this file if you installed Classic Holstered Weapons from the previous section of this guide

Description

  • Makes sure that Classic Holstered Weapons is compatible with FROST

Installation Instructions

  • Main File - CHW .ini for FROST

FROST PANPC Patch (*O, *D)

Note

  • You only need this file if you installed PANPC from the previous section of this guide

Description

  • The FROST patch for PANPC

Installation Instructions

  • Open this PANPC Patches Google Drive repository
  • Download one of the Frost PANPC patches, and save it somewhere on your computer (like the ‘Downloads’ folder on your computer)
  • Once the download has finished, click the mo2 archive button button at the top of MO2
  • From the new window, navigate to where the PANPC was downloaded to and double-click it
  • Finish the install normally
  • The FROST PANPC contains several .esp files:
  • You only need “PANPC FROST Patch.esp”. Please deactivate or remove the other plugins!

FROST Cell Fixes (FCF)

Description

  • This is FROSTs version of Previsibines Repair Pack (PRP). It improves performance greatly and fixes bugs.

Installation Instructions

Do not select merge or replace when installing these files with MO2! Always use rename!

  • Always install the newest versions/files of this mod!
  • Main File - FROST Cell Fixes (FCF)
    • Installing this mod will show an installer
    • Read the first page that will show up, click on Ok, adn then click on Next
    • Select a barricade texture resolution (I recommend the 2k version)
    • Select Install to finish the installation
  • Main File - FROST Cell Fixes (FCF) - Patches
  • Hotfix
    • If there currently is a hotfix in the Update Files section of FCF, download and install it too please!
    • Do NOT install any hotfixes that are listed in the Archived Files or the Old Files section!
